After a little surgery on my left arm I am back to the keyboard with both hands, so the topic of this blog is gratitude and one of the best ways to share a message about it is through Louie Schwartzberg’s TED talk called “Gratitude”. ?He is a filmmaker who is best known for his extraordinary and beautiful time-lapse photography, which he has done 24 hours a day, seven days a week for 30 years. ?This type of art is his way of conveying to us our connection to nature and spirit by remembering to connect with the natural world around us. ?The visual images in this 10-minute video are astounding.

When we’re feeling down, angry, sad, lonely, or infusing negativity into our daily life, gratitude is the instant salve to remind us of what we DO have no matter how much that is or how much we have forgotten that even the smallest things are gifts can open our hearts and help us remember our capacity for love and connection.
